From a flood-addled family to a faked alien abduction, from a darkly comic tale about a pregnant woman goaded into unspeakable acts by her unborn child to a lovingly rendered animation of a Raymond Briggs classic, the London film festival provides a great showcase for new UK filmmaking talent.
