Ethel and Ernest is screening in six more festivals over the next few weeks.

BIAFF (Bucheon International Animation Film Festival) in South Korea has announced Ethel and Ernest as one of seven feature films in their official selection. The festival is now in its 19th year. In 1999, the Bucheon International Animation Festival(BIAF) was the sole animation festival in Asia. In 2015, BIAF changed to a general competition festival and now has competitions in 5 categories, (Feature/Short/Graduation/TV&Commissioned/Online)


Ethel and Ernest will also be screened in Romania. Bucharest is holding the 12th edition of Anim’est International Animated Film Festival from September 29th to October 8th.

The Argentinian animated film festival Anima will be screening Ethel and Ernest. The festival runs from 11th to 13th October in Cordoba.

Ethel and Ernest is in Denmark too, at the Viborg Animation Festival. The festival runs from 25th September to 1st October.


Ethel and Ernest is also showing in Finland at the Helsinki International Film Festival. The festival, now in its 30th edition, runs from September 14th–24th.

We are also showing in Luxembourg at the British and Irish Film Season, which runs from 20-30 September.

Ethel and Ernest has also been chosen as the closing night film of the Taichung International Animation Festival. The festival is held in the Taiwan city of Taichung from Oct. 13th- 17th.
