Ethel and Ernest wins at Chilemonos 2018

Ethel and Ernest has won the Best Feature Film prize at the International Animation Festival Chilemonos 2018.

The other films in the competition were Loving Vincent (Dir: Dorota Kobiela and Hugh Welchman – Poland/UK),  Early Man (Dir: Nick Park – UK), and Petztronauta La Pelicula (Dir: Célia Catunda, Kiko Mistrorigo, Rodrigo Eba – Brasil).

Established in 2012 the animation festival is the biggest in Chile and includes exhibitions and master classes with renowned international guests, including this year Lupus Films producer Camilla Deakin who was there to pick up the prize.

The International Animation Festival Chilemonos 2018 starts today in Santiago. Ethel and Ernest will get its Chilean premiere at the festival on the 10th May and will be presented by Lupus Films producer Camilla Deakin.
