Lupus Films’ Ethel & Ernest gets four British Animation Awards nominations.

The nominations for the 2018 British Animation Awards have been announced.

Ethel and Ernest has received nominations in four categories.

Best Long Form Animation – For animated films or programmes 23 minutes or longer e.g. TV specials, feature films & animated documentaries.

Best Voice – Brenda Blethyn for her role as Ethel.

Best Craft – for the animation team, led by director Roger Mainwood, animation director Peter Dodd and art director Robin Shaw.

Best Sound – Sound: Adrian Rhodes — Music: Carl Davis with an original song, In the Blink of an Eye, by Sir Paul McCartney

The awards ceremony, now in its 22nd year, will be held at London’s BFI Southbank on 15 March 2018.
